Lovely bedroom in a period property

The bathroom was small and the shower was very small.

Beautiful decor. Our stay was quite tricky. Bright green security lights, tiny almost impossible shower, hard towels, no fitted sheets. We stayed with two dogs and would have liked access to a brush and pan or vacuum cleaner. Such a shame as potentially it could have been a luxurious apartment.

It has been good stay, with a short walk to beach front for daily run with dog.

Die Ausstattung war sehr gut. Die Räume waren sehr schön und geschmackvoll eingerichtet.

Es hätte ein wenig sauberer sein können. Das Waschbecken und die Dusche hätten größer sein können.

The Location of the property was brilliant The size of the lounge and bedroom very good

The bathroom was far too small you can’t move in the shower my partner struggled to have a wet shave in the tiny basin there was no where to dry the towels after a shower the radiator in the shower room did not work. No Hairdryer, no iron this was listed in the facilities no toaster which we found very strange for a modern apartment we were only left 1 hand towel and 2 bath towels which wasn’t sufficient for 3 nights we were only left 1 toilet roll we had to purchase more The information sheet that was left did not tell you how to operate any of the electrical goods

Nice apartment and comfortable for the 2 of us and our dog.
Responsive agent when we reported beeping from an electrical box which kept us up the first night. Was pleased they sorted it out promptly.
The bathroom is quite small which I think is the only downside.

The kitchen, living and bedroom were fine with the exception of a bright green fire alarm light which meant the bedroom never got truly dark and affected sleep.
The yard is not advertised as shared but was accessed a couple of times unexpectedly to us which was concerning given the backdoor sees straight into next to the bathroom. I’m hoping some frosted glass will be added to give more privacy and the fact it is a shared yard added to the listing.
The shower is really very very small and not sure the description really does that justice.
Location is great with the exception of Saturday night which can get a bit lairy with nearby late bars and the taxi rank outside. We also unfortunately had someone access the front porch (which is left unlocked) and set off the fire alarm in the middle of the night.
There is also a decent amount of noise from the upstairs flat which meant we were awake before 7am every day.
It’s a nice place and a few tweaks will improve some things.

We enjoyed our stay at Northville. The flat is lovely and really nicely furnished. As other people have mentioned, the shower is very tight for space but we managed.
The only negative for us was that there isn’t much soundproofing and so noise of people in the flat above and entering and leaving the building is easily audible. This shouldn’t be an issue for most people but if you have a dog with you like we did then it can set them with doors banging in the morning.
Overall a lovely place and well located for both the beach and local amenities.

Lovely space. Beautifully appointed and great for a base whilst visiting our resident Newcastle student. Tyne mouth is excellent for eating and the dog absolutely loved the beach which was moments away.

The location was ok but the actual street was run down although many of the properties on the street are being improved so overall it's fair to say it's on the way back up. At the bottom of the street is the sea was is really nice. Whitley is a small town and I imagine wherever you're staying you won't be far from amenities.

Whilst it's fair to say the accommodation is aesthetically pleasing (period features, open plan) actually living in it is quite a different story. The shower was dreadful (scalding or freezing were the 2 options for most of the time; after a lot of effort you might be lucky to find a temperature that was bearable for a few minutes); the water pressure was appalling. In the middle of the night there was a noise from the pipes that woke us up every night. There isn't a proper wardrobe or drawers in the bedroom. There wasn't an iron or iron board - one was provided the following day after we requested it. The radiators are too small for the room - definitely wouldn't want to stay at the property when it's cold. We also experienced a power cut but that was just bad luck.

Large main room well laid out furniture with tasteful decor. Easy walk to beach.

Area is up and coming but a lot of renovation of properties nearby. We were lucky with parking nearby but a bit hit and miss.

After booking we were asked to put down a deposit for damages. The link they shared did not work. They didn’t send the access code details and when I called they rudely told me I hadn’t paid the damages deposit even though I had communicated their payment link did not work. We were standing out in the rain waiting for the info. I felt like they were expecting us to trash the place when in fact we are 37yr olds looking for a quiet weekend away! Really poor customer service. Pity as the location is amazing

This place is beautiful and literally a minutes walk to the town centre and a couple of minutes to the sea. Attention to detail with the decor and coffee, tea and milk on arrival was welcomed. The parking is okay at certain times of the day, so once you get parked I would recommend not moving again. But you don’t need to as everything is on your doorstep. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back again. The restaurant recommendations by the hosts were also fantastic. Thank you ?

The Northville apartment is lovely, very comfortable, spotlessly clean and a great location - easy walking distance of every thing you need. We had no problems parking even on a bank holiday weekend. The listing is accurate- I didn’t look properly so didn’t bring a hairdryer. The only slight downside is the shower which really is small - and I’m the size of a hobbit. The communication is through a company and they require a deposit or damage waiver - these are both in the listing but I didn’t spot them so was a bit surprised.

Just back from a two night stay at Northville Arrifana and it was superb.
Spotlessly clean which is incredibly important to us.
The decor is stunning and every thing had been chosen with such style, care and attention.
Located minutes from the sea and easy access to lovely eateries and coffee shops all around you.
Dog friendly too, we cannot wait to return.
100% recommend. We loved the apartment and we loved Whitley Bay.

Lovely flat. Beautiful decor & furnishings. Well equipped kitchen & every utensil you could want.

Shower too small for comfort. Basin so small it was a joke. Property managers Host & Stay need lessons in what is expected when you arrive at a property. No welcome pack, no washing up liquid, no loo cleaner & single sheet loo roll….,!? Come on! After all we’d paid they had the cheek to try & charge us for clean sheets & towels our 2nd week. Our lovely owner Becky who lives on the property stepped in & we got our clean sheets etc as is to be expected.

Just back from a 2 night stay and it honestly felt like a home from home. The apartment was gorgeous and finished to a really high standard and I loved the decor. The bed was super comfy and it was in a great location. Was so cosy inside and myself and my partner would love to come back. There is roadworks outside the property just now however we had no issues parking and managed to get right outside the apartment both nights when we returned back to the apartment. Thank you.
