With access to the scenic Derwent Walk nearby, guests can enjoy breathtaking viaduct views and endless countryside strolls - a haven for families, friends, and dog walkers alike.

Just under two miles away, the friendly village of Rowlands Gill provides shops and eateries, while days out can be filled with nearby attractions such as Gibside Hall, the world-famous Beamish Living Museum, and the iconic Hadrian’s Wall. The well-equipped kitchen/diner makes family meals easy, complete with electric oven, hob, built-in microwave, fridge/freezer, and dishwasher.

Sleeping up to six guests (and welcoming two dogs), the property is designed with comfort in mind. The ground floor double bedroom features generous storage and there is access to a modern shower room.

Upstairs, you’ll find a charming twin room with ensuite bathroom, and a second double bedroom with its own ensuite shower room - perfect for families or groups seeking both privacy and convenience.

Outdoors, the enclosed garden is a true delight, incorporating part of the original station platform wall and providing a unique backdrop for al fresco dining or birdwatching. The patio is ideal for summer meals, while the peaceful garden offers a relaxing retreat after a day’s exploring.

Whether you’re here to walk, explore, or simply unwind, this welcoming holiday home offers a memorable base for your North East getaway.
