Loved the decor of the place. Really nice touches and super comfortable. The bed was comfy and the facilities were good. Really cosy and loved the 3 nights we spent there. Great location near the coast for us to travel to nearby places such as scarborough and robin hoods bay. My pup loved the nearby beaches and coastal paths followed by cosy nights in the cabin. I’d definitely stay again! The water pressure in the shower and sink was fairly weak. When trying to wash your hands in the bathroom sink the hot water would just trickle out. There was no washing up liquid to do the dishes, but not too big of a deal.

Great quiet location but not too far from everything you want to see & do in the area. No pubs in walking distance but Raven Hall is only a 5min walk away and was very welcoming in us popping in with kids & dogs most evenings for a meal and drinks.

I was really glad to find this place very last minute, it was extremely convenient for attending a wedding at Raven Hall. The accommodation has been kitted out to a high standard but a couple of issues that would be worth knowing about/addressing: 1) there is a large skylight and no blind. This meant that we were woken up at 6am by the daylight which was not what we needed. 2) the bathroom radiator doesn’t work/ we couldn’t see how to turn it on so the bathroom was cold and our towels didn’t dry. We did move the plug in radiator into the bathroom before we needed to use the bathroom. 3) the property does have a log burner. We chose not to use this due to respiratory health concerns but there was still a smell of smoke in the property which our clothes picked up. 4) no washing up liquid is provided and there is no local shop to buy any. Overall there were no major problems with the accommodation but several smaller ones that would make us prefer staying elsewhere at this price point.

An absolutely beautiful cosy place in the most idyllic location ideal for coastal walks! Cosy peaceful and gorgeously decorated, easy to find and park. It has pretty much everything you need and makes great use of the space (only thing we missed was tea towels for washing up). The info supplied by the host agency was great and they are super responsive. There was a slight hiccup on check in but the team were very helpful in sorting it out and I'm sure it'll be resolved for the next guest! Still no hesitation to highly recommended and we had a brilliant stay.

Absolutely stunning room. Very clean and well equipped in the kitchen and bathroom. The description says it sleeps 4 inclusive of the sofa bed however this is more suited to couples. No bedding for the sofa bed - sheets did get delivered the next day (despite me messaging the day of arrival) but minus a duvet and pillows. Sofa bed just fit the kids on. Property was cold but plenty of wood for the log burner and a radiator. Which was helpful. 40th birthday party on in the property attached which was loud at times both nights - But you’re only 40 once! The walk down to the beach was a delight - and the climb down to the rocks was worth it as we saw 100s of seals! Amazing! Steep climb however lots of notices and advice re which path to take with a cafe for refuelling after the hike back up. Close to Whitby and Robin Hoods Bay.
