No.12 was the perfect location for our family get together. The house was spacious, in a beautiful setting and had plenty of amenities. The host was very friendly, welcoming and a wealth of knowledge about the house and the area - recommending some great pubs. We were a big family group so the four double bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, dining room and 2 lounges were perfect. Would highly recommend for a comfortable, relaxing break!
The location was perfect for exploring the area, with plenty to see nearby as well as longer walks. The town itself is nice, although showing some signs of decline in places. There are plenty of pubs left though, serving interesting and varied beers in a great atmosphere. The house was impressive but cosy, with lots of history behind it. Dave explained the history of the house and some of the contents. Everything was spotless, and the facilities were well maintained. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.
