The parking instructions were unclear. The house was on a very busy road, something we couldn’t research before. There were a number of maintenance issues and cleaning issues which despite me raising with the host through their complaint form as requested; they did nothing. Very little equipment in the kitchen. Terrible smell in the downstairs toilet due a leaking pipe. All round just really disappointing. You don’t want to turn up to a holiday let and need to clean it !

We had a lovely few days here over new year. Comfortable bedrooms, living room and bathrooms. The kitchen felt a little under equipped for 6 adults but was perfectly good. Great to have a wood burner and some nice touches like games provided.

Unfortunately we had quite a few issues with the property. We reported them to Norfolk Holiday Properties - during the stay and after - and they did respond in a very timely manner. They have also given us a small refund which was appreciated. It's a shame as the cottage itself is very cosy, the beds are very comfortable & the location is great. But the issues did get in the way. If these issues are addressed this would be a lovely place to stay. Some practical information for future guests.... The kitchen has a small undercounter fridge with a freezer compartment. So best avoid large shops as you'll struggle to fit everything in. The bathroom with the walk-in shower is downstairs and accessed from the kitchen. The 1st floor bathroom with the bath is on the 1st floor. The front door from the street opens straight into the living room - we had to be careful as we had a young child and a dog. And there is no back yard/garden. And you can park cars a few minutes away.
