Großzügig, hell , tolle Lage. Vermieter hat sofort geantwortet. Küche nur oberflächlich sauber, müsste mal gründlich geputzt und aufgeräumt werden. Einige Kleinstreparaturen ( wacklige Klopapierhalter) müssten erledigt werden.
The flat was easy to access and well-equipped, with a large open lounge with a dining table, an ample kitchen with a range of equipment, and two bathrooms, one with a bath. It was ideal for two colleagues needing to work together, but also offered sufficient privacy. The beds were comfortable and the towels were soft and fluffy. The flat can either be accessed by stairs (which we did mostly), or by an "open" disabled lift, which we only used at the start and end of our stay, when carrying cases. The location was about 15-20 minutes walk to the station and 30 to the conference centre through the Lanes. There are supermarkets, cafes and restaurants nearby, and a MacDonald's on the ground floor. The hosts provided toilet paper, soap and shampoo and tea, milk sachets and coffee, which was a thoughtful touch. The entranceway is in an alley, which made me glad I wasn't arriving back each night alone, but with a colleague. The flat was not as clean as we would have liked, the surfaces on the desks etc were pretty dusty, and the fridge and rugs could have had a more thorough clean. There was also someone else's jacket left in the wardrobe. After a day outside the flat at a conference it also always smelt rather musty when we came back in, and needed aired each time.
