After looking at the pictures you would think you’re going to be staying at a very nice modern looking house however that is far from the truth. Once we arrived we quickly noticed the property was not at all clean alongside there being stains on the bed and the towels not even being clean. Most of the walls either have cracks in them or are dirty. The bedsheets were not clean. Overall very disappointed as in the pictures the property looks very promising.

Pros: Good size Good location Easy to contact host and responsive Room sizes ok and plenty of in-room storage Good, clean kitchen space with good kitchen utilities all working Plenty of on street parking Cons: A number of areas of disrepair including missing plaster, carpet, carpet tacks in stairs sticking up, broken fence Grimy bathroom - surfaces etc clean, but mouldy grout, shower screen rim, bath panel etc Very bad smell in downstairs toilet and one bedroom (ground floor - smells like the room has been previously vomited in or had a problem with damp and the smell hasn’t been effectively removed) Outside bins overflowing and broken glass on the floor No essentials like dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid etc It was ok for our needs but we wouldn’t use again

This is the second time I have stayed in this property. First time no problems but this time there has been a sickening smell of sewerage. This was on going for our entire stay. This was reported but no resolution.

We arrived at the property rather late on Friday evening to find it was a mess, furniture broken, bins full and bedding hadn’t been changed- clearly it had not been cleaned after the previous guests. Reached out to the host but being late night, didn’t receive a response (our fault for checking in so late). We didn’t actually stay at the property instead a hotel, but had enough rooms/ beds to sleep 10 people and would be an okay base for a weekend away for a large group of people. Price was very reasonable as host was offering a special discount.

everything was good.. the heating was not great in the property...the top floor rooms were very cold. still a nice place to stay. unfortunately the key box was damaged, possibly due to someone trying to break in to the property whilst we were out and the host tried making us pay for this.

First off ,when we arrived we could not get the lock box to open, so I messaged the hoist, but all of this is outsourced, so I made the call, so the girl kept asking me was I at the right property, so I had to send photos, she never resolved the problem, I had to force the box open to get the key, she never managed me to ask did I get in , At the back door the rubbish was hipped up looking like it was there for weeks, I told the girl about it on the call , but again when I left the rubbish was still there , I stayed there for 2 weeks, had to take my rubbish with me every two days, the cats and the foxes were rumbling through the rubbish with the rats, I had to go in and out through the front door to avoid the fox every morning the fox was standing on top of the rubbish looked in the window, the cats and dogs were running after the rats so you can understand why I had to use the front door,
