The Space
The Folly has been furnished to a very high standard. With premium furnishings and beautiful finishes, you can expect a truly luxurious stay.

Head to the living room and you’ll find a comfortable space with a leather sofa and matching armchair. Turn on the flat screen TV to keep up with your favourite shows or spend quality time with your loved one.

The property has a spacious open plan kitchen diner, located just behind the living area. This space is great for relaxing during your stay as the dining area includes a square table with seating for four.

Fully equipped for self-catering stays, the kitchen has everything you could need to prepare meals easily. The light cabinets are super stylish and in keeping with the rest of the decor in the property.

The Folly boasts one spacious bedroom. With a comfy king size bed, premium bed linens and plush bedding, this is a tranquil space.

In the bathroom, you’ll find a freestanding bathtub and a walk-in shower, as well as a wash basin and WC. A separate WC is also available on the ground floor.

Outside you’ll find a seating area overlooking a Roman-style bath. The perfect spot for a morning coffee or an evening tipple, this is a real added bonus to this beautiful property.

Getting Around
Middleton Hall Estate is located within 20 minutes’ drive time to beautiful areas within Northumberland such as Wooler, Berwick-upon-Tweed and Alnwick. There are excellent travel links as the estate is only a short distance from the A1. Given the rural location of Belford, having a car is essential when staying in the village.

Berwick-upon-Tweed railway station is roughly a 20-minute drive away from Belford. From here, there is direct rail access to locations all across the UK including Newcastle, Edinburgh, York, Leeds and London.

There are a number of bus stops throughout Belford. Hop on the 418 service to explore Bamburgh, Beadnell, Alnwick and Alnmouth amongst others. The X18 route travels between Newcastle and Berwick upon Tweed with stops in Morpeth, Amble and Seahorses.

Newcastle Airport is roughly one hour away by car.
