The Space
Lake Cottage has three bedrooms including an ensuite double bedroom, king size room, and one twin room. Featuring comfy mattresses and plush bedding, every care has been taken to ensure you enjoy your night's sleep at Lake Cottage. All three bedrooms in the property are equipped with ample storage space so you can really make yourself at home.

The kitchen diner is fully equipped so you’ll have everything you could need to make the most of your self catering stay.

Head to the family bathroom and you’ll find a bathtub with overhead shower, WC and basin. Featuring marble appearance tiles and immaculate fittings, this space is modern and stylish.

Walk down the landing into the living area and you’ll find a welcoming space with two comfortable sofas and a striped armchair. There is also a log burner and a flat screen TV so you can snuggle up with your loved ones on an evening and enjoy a cosy night in.

The living area has patio doors which open out onto a private garden with outdoor seating and equipment to keep your little ones entertained.

Middleton Hall Estate is located within 20 minutes’ drive time to beautiful areas within Northumberland such as Wooler, Berwick-upon-Tweed and Alnwick. There are excellent travel links as the estate is only a short distance from the A1. Given the rural location of Belford, having a car is essential when staying in the village.

Berwick-upon-Tweed railway station is roughly a 20-minute drive away from Belford. From here, there is direct rail access to locations all across the UK including Newcastle, Edinburgh, York, Leeds and London.

There are a number of bus stops throughout Belford. Hop on the 418 service to explore Bamburgh, Beadnell, Alnwick and Alnmouth amongst others. The X18 route travels between Newcastle and Berwick upon Tweed with stops in Morpeth, Amble and Seahorses.

Newcastle Airport is roughly one hour away by car.
