We wanted to visit our friends in Horstead, but as they have a cat that doesn't like dogs we couldn't stay at their house! Church Close provided the perfect pet friendly venue for us. We were able to bring our dog and relax with our friends, as the walk between properties was under a mile. Additionally there are many nice cafes and pubs within walking distance of Church Close, the majority of them pet friendly, like the Recruiting Sergeant. We particularly enjoyed our meal there. The garden at Church Close is enclosed and it was great to sit on the patio and watch our dog enjoying himself wandering around it! The pint of milk and ice cubes in the fridge/freezer were appreciated! My friends described the house as a palace! Minor point - we prefer our pillows to be a bit firmer, other than that it was a perfect stay.

The accommodation was tidy throughout, you could see that the sofa had been cleaned and the carpets. All linen and towels were clean and readily available. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you could need. Well laid out, we loved the fact that Kitchen, dining area and lounge were all open plan so we could cook and spend time as a family. The outside unfortunately didn't do it any justice, could definitely do with a bit of TLC, but didn't affect our stay. Handy guide to the property within with WiFi instructions and bin collections. Loved that they had the kids toilet seat you could just flick down on the toilet and the handrail in shower too. The location is lovely and quiet, local shop, pub and fish and chip shop which is handy. Lots to do in the local area all within 25minute drive. We would definitely stay again.

Location, open plan kitchen/living space, access to garden Despite communication with host and stay we had a faulty dangerous shower which was not sorted. No headboard in main bedroom, patio and garden required attention. No as clean as I would have expected.

Perfect for what we had planned. Close to everything and everywhere it’s a real home from home. Sharing the garden in the evening with deer, birds and more butterflies than I have ever seen really capped it off. Wished we could have stayed longer

We chose this property based on the location, layout & facilities. They were all good & suited us as a family. However, the outside space is awful. The front garden is a mess, overgrown grass & weeds & parking is diffiult, definately only suited to a very small car. There's a silly little path to the door & a messy porch, not exactly welcoming. We had to keep kicking moss which was falling from the roofs away or would have trodden it inside. The back garden was neglected & overgrown with stinging nettles. As we had a small child in our party they could not play out. The patio furniture was filthy & could not be used during the good weather. All very sad given the location as the property backs onto a lovely meadow & it would have been nice to have sat outside & enjoyed the birds song. To only supply 1 toilet roll & 2 dishwasher tablets for an 8 night stay was unacceptable therefore could not put the dishwasher on for the last time on check out day.

We had a last minute change to itinerary, when our original accommodation became unavailable. Norfolk Properties were excellent in their service provision and were proactive is finding alternative accommodation that net our needs. The substitute property was clean and spacious and well placed to give easy access to the local area.

It was large clean and comfortable. Lovely private garden space for relaxing. Short walk to local shop, a couple of pubs and a couple of takeaways. Minor comments but the windows could have been cleaned, and the front door needed a hefty push to open/close.

Great spot to walk to and from the river and the lovely village of Coltishall. Great pubs nearby for food and to sit and watch the world go by. The property was as advertised and had everything we needed for our stay.
