The Space

The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need, including an oven, gas hob, dishwasher, and a bean-to-cup coffee machine (with beans provided!). We’ve got all the essentials to make cooking a breeze.
Get a great night's sleep in one of our three comfy bedrooms: a super king, a standard king, and a twin room with two single beds.
You'll have the convenience of a ground-floor shower room and a family bathroom with both a bath and shower.
Take in the peaceful riverside views from the garden, complete with a private wood-fired hot tub. It's the perfect spot for your morning coffee. (Don’t forget to bring towels for the hot tub!)
You'll have access to a washing machine, dryer, Smart TV, Bluetooth speaker, CD player, and board games. For families, a travel cot and high chair are available. The wood-fired hot tub is easy to use with a provided log starter pack and clear instructions to ensure a safe, relaxing experience.
Neighborhood
Riverside Cottage is located in the charming village of Reedham, nestled on the banks of the River Yare. This picturesque village is known for its local brewery, Humpty Dumpty, which plays an active role in the annual Reedham Beer Festival and can be sampled in the village’s welcoming pubs. A unique feature of Reedham is its chain ferry, one of the few remaining in the country, providing the only crossing over the River Yare between Norwich and Great Yarmouth—a defining characteristic of this beloved village.

In just over 30 minutes, you can reach the vibrant city of Norwich, the traditional seaside fun of Great Yarmouth, or the beautiful Norfolk Broads in Wroxham.

Reedham is a great village to explore on foot, with the riverbank and countryside providing lovely walking routes. The village itself is compact, with local pubs, shops, and the iconic chain ferry just a short stroll from Riverside Cottage. For longer walks, the nearby Norfolk Coast Path and Broads offer stunning landscapes and peaceful trails.
Riverside Cottage is easily accessible by car, with Reedham located off the A47 and A146. It’s around a 30-minute drive from Norwich and Great Yarmouth, and approximately 2.5 hours from London via the A11 and M11. Parking is available at the cottage, making it a convenient base for exploring the local area by car.
The nearest train station is Reedham Station, just a 10-minute walk from Riverside Cottage. Reedham Station offers regular services to Norwich and Great Yarmouth, making it easy to reach the city or the coast without needing a car.
Local bus services connect Reedham with nearby towns such as Norwich, Great Yarmouth, and Wroxham. Buses run regularly.

Guests have access to the full property. The keys to the property are accessed via a secure key safe and full details will be provided shortly before your arrival date.
Please note there is a fast flowing river at the end of the garden as pictured. Guests are advised to be extremely cautious, especially those travelling with children and pets - please ensure both are supervised at all times.
Guests are welcome to hire boats locally and moor at the cottage for no extra charge (at guest's own risk).
Please note the hot tub will be cold on arrival and will take around 2 hrs to heat up using the wood burner within the tub. Instructions and wood are provided.
Guests are provided with a starter pack of logs. Additional logs must be purchased by guests.
