This beautiful townhouse really is the perfect home-from-home that's ideal for families. Set over 4 floors and located in a prominent city-centre location, which is a stones throw from the hustle and bustle of the North Laines and a few minutes walk from Brighton station - it is the perfect base to explore all the city has to offer. As you enter you’ll immediately notice the welcoming atmoshere and warm colours providing an extremely comfortable, calm and homely ambiance.
GROUND FLOOR
The ground floor consists of a fully equipped contemporary kitchen - including dishwasher, microwave plus a food processor, plus plenty of crockery, cutlery, cookware and glassware as well as a breakfast table. In addition to this we offer complimentary tea and coffee, salt and pepper and cooking oil - so please help yourself!
The living area is a great place to get cosy and put your feet up when you want to relax, chat and unwind with a movie. It has a modern, stylish feel with some contemporary wall art. There's a Smart TV with access to Netflix and various streaming services. In the far corner is the dining table (seating 8/9). This light and sociable room also has a sunny balcony where you can read and enjoy breakfast or a morning coffee.
There's also a cloakroom on the ground floor with a washing machine.
FIRST FLOOR
On the first floor you’ll find 2 bedrooms: the master bedroom has a super king bed, a private balcony and a luxurious ensuite bathroom with walk-in shower. The second bedroom has a double bed and a single toddler trundle bed (suitable for a toddler only). A travel cot is also available. Located just off the hall is the fully tiled family bathroom with a modern white suite and shower over the bath.
Fresh bed linen and plenty of huge towels and toiletries are provided.
SECOND FLOOR
The second floor has a 2 further large bedrooms. The third bedroom has a king bed, adjoining bathroom and balcony. The fourth bedroom has a double bed plus a single bed.
THIRD FLOOR
On the third and final floor is the private roof terrace and cosy sun room where you can watch TV, read a book or enjoy drinks and let the world go by. The sofa also neatly converts into a bed! The roof terrace is completely private and has an outdoor dining area perfect for those alfresco lunches with friends and family.
Neighborhood
This property is set on a quiet residential street just minutes away from Brighton's cultural area - the North Laine is a hub of independent shops and eateries and an amazing spot for people watching. You can also explore The Lanes and get lost in the maze of winding streets, with its array of jewellery shops, cafes and pubs.
Within a short stroll, you will find the very best independent shops, restaurants and cafes as well as Brighton's cultural highlights such as the Brighton Dome, Brighton Pavilion & Gardens and the Theatre Royal.
Brighton Pier and the seafront are not far either and just a little further along is the i360, which is worth a visit on a clear day with its stunning panoramic views of Brighton and the coast. You can easily venture to other areas of the city like Kemptown or Hove and it really is an incredibly perfect location.
Getting Around
WALKING - From the house you can walk to everything you'll want to see during your stay - the beach, the i360, restaurants, pubs, cafes, shopping at Churchill Square, independent shops in the North Laine etc.
PARKING - Parking can be difficult and expensive all over central Brighton. If you do need to park, there are pay & display bays in the area (please check local signs), and several car parks, the best option is the Norton Road car park in Hove which is around £9 per day.
TRAIN - Brighton train station is a two minute walk away with frequent trains to London Victoria, St Pancras and beyond.
BUSES - There are numerous buses if you prefer to jump on a bus. They are regular and easy to use and go from Western Road or London Road, a couple of minutes walk north from the flat.
TAXI - Taxi companies & UBER operate locally so getting around is never an issue.
BIKES - All over the city you can hire a social bike and enjoy the cycle path that runs from Hove all the way to Saltdean, it's beautiful cycling along the coast. You can also park these bikes up securely across the whole city.
