Situated on the ground floor of a serene side street is ideal for families and friends, serving as a great starting point to discover the endless attractions of Brighton. An assortment of independent coffee shops, bars/restaurants, and green areas surround you and offer an abundance of choices. A pleasant stroll separates you from the noise and commotion of the city centre, which allows you to access the beach, Palace Pier, i360, theatre, shops, and restaurants and more.
The cosy living area has modern decor and a fun, playful design. The sofa also conveniently converts into a full sized double sofa bed suitable for up to 2 guests. From here, you can relax and watch your favourite TV show or movie on the Smart TV.
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you’ll need during your stay - there’s an oven and hob, fridge & freezer, dishwasher and lots of space for preparation. In addition to this we offer complimentary tea & coffee, salt & pepper and cooking oil - so please help yourself.
The secluded, private garden to the rear has a wonderful, enclosed outdoor seating area which has ample space for all guests and at the front of the property there’s a small patio area perfect for a morning coffee!
Both bedrooms are finished in neutral tones; the master bedroom consists of a king-sized bed, dedicated desk/workspace and has fitted storage for all your clothes and belongings. The second bedroom has a double sized bed and ample storage too. We also provide fresh white linen and towels for guests to use during their stay.
Just off the hall is the family bathroom which is fully tiled and features a contemporary white suite with shower over bath - what better way to immediately feel relaxed and at home. Guest toiletries are provided so please help yourself.
Conveniently located just under a mile from Brighton train station and the heart of the city. You also have the South Lanes, North Laine and seafront close by making it a perfect location for experiencing all that Brighton has to offer.
A travel cot and / or high chair can be hired for the duration of your stay - please request in advance.
Free parking Saturday and Sunday, parking restrictions Monday-Friday 11am - noon and 6pm - 7pm. Further free parking can be found at Tenantry Down Road, which is a 15 minute stroll from the apartment.
Neighborhood
Located in a lovely residential area of Brighton just outside the heart of the city with a short stroll to the centre. There are some lovely cafes such as Tilt, The Flour Pot bakery, Fiveways Deli, North Vilage. There are also some excellent pubs and bars in the area such as the Preston Park Tavern, Open House, Signalmen and Wine Bar 300.
Located in Elm Grove the property is close to Preston Park, which has a cafe, a playground and even a Velodrome and is a home to famous Preston Manor. It's the perfect spot for a morning jog, some outdoor yoga, or a cycle on a sunny day. Preston Park is also a host to Brighton Pride in August and many outdoor events during the Brighton Festival in May.
There are a number of green spaces and parks conveniently located nearby, Blakers Park, The Level & Hollingbury park are all nearby and are children and dog friendly aswell as Brighton Borough Cemetery and Bevendean recreational ground.
A short bus journey will take you through the North Laine area to the centre of town, with all of the amazing attractions that Brighton has to offer, all the way down to the beach.
Getting Around
ON FOOT
It is easy to explore Brighton on foot, and all of the main attractions are close together - thanks to our amazing central location, plenty of them are right on the doorstep!
TRAIN
Brighton railway station is less than 1.5 mile away, with fast trains to London Victoria, Gatwick Airport, Kings Cross and other cities.
BUS
If you wish to explore by bus, there are plenty of frequent buses to all parts of the city and beyond that stop right near to the apartment.
CAR / PARKING
Parking can be difficult in central Brighton so if possible, we advise travelling here by train if possible. There are several car parks nearby, please check prices first as they can be expensive. An alternative is to book a parking space with JustPark, which is like Airbnb for parking spaces and can be cheaper than permitted parking over the course of a full day.
CYCLING
Bikes can be hired from many points around Brighton, with the Brighton Bike Share Scheme. There is a fantastic cycle path which stretches all along the seafront from the iconic beach huts in Hove all the way past Brighton Beach and the cliffs of Rottingdean.
Guest have access to the entire property during their stay.
