This charming cottage is in the centre of a picturesque seaside a stroll away from the seafront & countryside, located in a lively area. Beautifully decorated & tastefully furnished, the neutral colours are calm & relaxing. The kitchen has a breakfast bar with velvet stools whilst the lounge has a velvet sofa and an occasional chair with glass doors onto the private terrace. There are 2 bright double bedrooms - 1 with a king sized bed & a smart TV, a family bathroom & a downstairs cloakroom.

This appealing cottage is located in a mews in a conservation area, right near the village green and just a short walk from the beach for stunning sea views and under cliff walks. You can also stroll to village pubs, the bakery, restaurants, and a small supermarket, so everything is close by. The property is ideally situated next to a vibrant beer pub garden, offering a lively atmosphere and an energetic vibe.
COSY & CHARMING
The house is both cosy and pleasing - the log burner, a Range oven and exposed beams upstairs provide the cosy country feel, whilst the neutral tones and tasteful furnishings throughout give a luxurious vibe.
FULLY EQUIPPED KITCHEN
The fully equipped kitchen has everything you'll need for a short or longer stay including a Range oven, washer dryer, dishwasher and a microwave. There's plenty of cutlery, crockery, cookware and glassware. You can cook up a brunch and eat with friends or family around the breakfast bar. Complimentary tea, coffee, sugar and cooking basics are provided.
RELAXING LIVING ROOM
The living room has a sumptuous velvet sofa - that can be used as a double sofa bed, if you wish. There's a beautiful occasional chair and a wall mounted Smart TV. This is the ideal space to relax and unwind. The glass doors that lead onto the private terrace allow natural light to flood in.

Upstairs there are 2 bright bedrooms double bedrooms, one has a double bed, the other a king size bed and wall mounted Smart TV. Here you'll see the exposed original beams that are part of the charm and character of the cottage. Each bedroom also has plenty of storage space for your clothes and personal items. All beds are made up with fresh white hotel-style linen and plenty of towels are provided for everyone.
There is a modern and beautiful family bathroom upstairs and a downstairs cloakroom. Guest toiletries are provided.
You will also find a hairdryer, iron and ironing board for guest convenience.
SUPERB LOCATION
- You can jump on a regular bus and head into Brighton in 15 minutes or even quicker by car. There is also a Lido closeby that's open in the summer months.
- Beacon Hill nature reserve with its iconic windmill is a short walk from the house giving direct access to the South Downs National Park and stunning countryside walks.
- Stroll through the village to a seafront pub or grab a coffee from a seafront cafe, sit on beach, take in the stunning sea views and relax.
PARKING
You can park nearby in surrounding streets - The Green, Dean Court Road, Steyning Road or Bazehill Road.

Neighborhood
Located just 4 miles east of Brighton, the seaside village of Rottingdean is a beautiful village destination surrounded by the South Downs National Park and the sea side.
Just a few minutes walk from the house you'll find the beautiful pebbled Rottingdean Beach which offers invigorating Undercliff walks plus stunning sea views from Molly’s Cafe.
The perfect all year round destination without the crowds of busier locations.
Rottingdean’s seafront and historic high street are home to a wide selection of restaurants, cafes and takeaways, to suit every mood and taste, from sun-up, to sun-down.
With a number of pubs to choose from, including Rottingdean’s oldest, Ye Olde Black Horse which dates back to 1513 and The White Horse, with its unrivalled location and sea views, there really is no reason to venture further. Though with Brighton less than 15 minutes on the regular ‘coaster’ bus service or an even quicker drive along the coastal road, you may be tempted. You can easily stop off at Brighton Marina en route too!
Rottingdean is living history, from its Norman church, numerous artistic connections, including Rudyard Kipling's old home and adjacent walled gardens, in addition to The Grange, which is the village museum and art gallery.
Beacon Hill nature reserve and its iconic windmill, is a short stroll from the house, giving direct access to the South Downs National Park and the most beautiful countryside walks, in every direction.
With so much to do, see and enjoy, Rottingdean is the perfect base to visit Brighton and other destinations further afield.
Getting Around
You can walk around the village, to the South Downs and to the beach. You can easily stroll to the supermarket, pharmacy, bakery, pubs, cafes and village shops.
If you want to head to the city, Brighton is about 15 minutes on the regular ‘coaster’ bus service or an even quicker drive straight along the coastal road.
There are many buses on Marine Drive that will take you from Rottingdean to Brighton and buses to Saltdean and The Lido (in the other direction) take 12 mins.
You can easily drive to other locations such as Worthing or Shoreham to the west or to the stunning village of Alfriston, Seven Sisters and Cuckmere Haven to the east.
The nearest mainline station is Brighton.
PARKING
You can unload outside the property, but be aware the Mews is extremely narrow and only has room for one car so you cannot park outside the house.
However, you can park nearby in surrounding the streets, including The Green, Dean Court Road, Steyning Road and Bazehill Road.
At the bottom of the High Street to the right, is West Street Pay & Display car park, next to Tesco Express. Charged 9am - 6pm, 4 hours max.
For longer stay parking, head to Marine Cliffs Pay & Display. Turn left at the bottom of High Street onto Marine Drive then right into car park. Charged 9am - 6pm, max stay 12 hours.
Guests have access to the entire house to themselves during their stay.
