We found the property to be very clean and check in and check out was incredibly smooth. The house is in a residential area but we found all the neighbours very friendly and the location is great for exploring Northumberland. Could do with a bigger kitchen bin and some more glasses for the kitchen but otherwise we found the house had everything we needed. We were disappointed that after booking we then had to pay an additional damage deposit.

We felt uncomfortable being in this street where folk were clearly ordinary working folk having strangers come to an empty house hosted by a company with no local contact and context.Expensive for being on a small street with no view, no garden.. We went to visit relatives, who are concerned about the number of these kinds of unmanned properties in Amble. The house was well decorated as a buy to let, and had no personal touches. Clean Stylish. The key box jammed. I rang to get help. Over 8 mins with an impersonal call centre, having a script read to me. I was told to film myself attempting to retrieve the key, upload that to an email address, wait for someone to get back to me to see if it needed to be escalated to a local maintenance team, whilst we sat sheltering from a downpour with a cold, hungry tired toddler. A relative applied brute force to release they key. Not someone's loved holiday home. Just a property.
